Dr. Wolf, a senior biophysicist, is President and Chief Consultant at Boston Biophysics. He was previously Vice President, Technology Development at the Warner Babcock Institute for Green Chemistry. He received his Bachelors degree with Honors in Physics at Brooklyn College of the CUNY and his Masters and Doctorate Degrees in Physics at Cornell University. He was a National Cancer Institute Postdoctoral Fellow at the Johns Hopkins University. After a twenty-five year career as Professor of Physiology at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and Senior Scientist at the Worcester Foundation for Experimental Biology, he has led scientific teams in the life sciences industry developing noninvasive physiological monitoring devices and research instrumentation to support drug discovery. Dr. Wolf has extensive experience in cell biology, immunology, data modeling and numerical algorithm development. He currently serves on the Editorial Board of the Biophysical Journal and previously on the Modeling Board of the American Journal of Physiology. He was Director of the Analytical and Quantitative Light Microscopy course at the Marine Biological Laboratory at Woods Hole, Massachusetts and co-editor of the book “Digital Microscopy,” now in its fourth edition.
